Research and development

At H2O Composites we are constantly looking for new products to produce, and for better ways to build our current products.The following projects are currently under development or being researched for possible development by our R&D department:

Project: Four person racing shell
Status: Active development
Projected launch: Fall 2008
Details: We are currently in development of the preliminary mold plug for a series of two four person rowing shells. Prototypes are expected for fall 2008 with full production for Spring 2009 deliveries

Project: Touring Kayak
Status: Active development
Projected launch: Spring 2009
Details: Development is underway to produce two touring kayaks. Both models will be designed to meet the needs of the tourer who requires more stability and versatility.

Project: Eight person rowing shell
Status: Design development
Projected launch: to be announced
Details: Once the four person is complete and in production, we will begin work on an the eight person mold. Design is currently underway.

Project: Recreational double
Status: Design development
Projected launch: Spring 2009
Details: With the increasing popularity of our Offshore 16 we are in development of a two person version. The shape will have similar lines and will be great for a full range of rowers from children to adult, novice to advanced
